My relationship with Diversified Health and Fitness began with their acquisition of Wave3. The corporate support I have received from Diversified starting at that point can be described as being first class and at a professional level.
For almost a year I had been looking for space and almost at the point where I was beginning to think maybe New York is just too difficult. But with the help of the Diversified real estate team and an exhaustive search for a space, it was a matter of months before we were negotiating a lease for that ideal space. The real estate department continues to be a phone call away when issues arise with my landlord.
The marketing and support team helped us to realize our potential in our new community. With training my staff and the Diversified team of sale consultants, we were able to launce what I believe was a very successful presale. Considering it was a month where stock markets were suffering from major losses and concern about the economy was the number one topic of presidential debates, we managed to bring in 208 new members. Our staff continues to sell memberships while we are experiencing a delay with our opening. We currently have over 260 members and will continue our presale promotion until opening.
There have been numerous people at Diversified that have helped us to get to the point where we are today. I am confident that I can call the corporate offices and find someone to address any and all of my concerns.

Purchasing a first franchise is a frightening experience but especially for me. Shortly after I financially committed to Sedona I learned of the change in corporate leadership to Diversified Health and Fitness. I was promptly contacted by Felicia and Susan from DHF who introduced the company and explained their marketing strategies that was a significant shift from the path on which I started.
My initial reaction was one of panic as I had substantial investment now with an uncertain future in the hands of a corporation about which I knew very little. My only course of action was to trust in the extensive collective experience of DHF.
My club opened 8/25/2008 with 524 members now after one month at 576. Our spa opened as well and in the first month we generated over $1,000/ week in revenue. No other club under the previous management opened this successfully.
I am completely satisfied with the leadership of Diversified Health and Fitness and look forward to a long and successful relationship.

I am an owner of Shapexpress in St. Louis MO. I have owned the club for almost 2 years and I have never seen the level of expertise that the Diversified Management Team has brought to the table. Their marketing team is the BEST in the business. The operations / marketing team is ALWAYS available to answer the phone or emails 24/7. They are ready to make the necessary phone calls for you to the vendors on your behalf to get the best service for their club owners. The team produced a yearly calendar for all owners that lists best marketing practices/ ideas that will bring in new members month after month. The marketing teams weekly conference calls with the owners really keep us focused and also gives us a chance to get together to discuss best practices throughout the organization. For instance, Planet Fitness franchisees are not only confined to restrictive color schemes but are also restricted in choice of equipment. Similarly Gold's Gym franchisees are entitled to no franchise choice of equipment, club offerings, and ancillary income. As a result, I have been able to and will continue to distinguish my club from the surrounding competition.
Most significantly, I am overwhelmed with your staff's continuity. From Discovery Day to current, each phone call, email or correspondence from me or my staff to your office has been answered or returned promptly and without exception. Even if it is our tenth phone call to your office at 10:00am, you and your staff have patiently answered our inquiries and listened to our countless concerns. What is more remarkable, however, is your cohesiveness and conglomerate efforts to provide the most effective support. In another words, at Diversified, one hand always knows what the other hand is doing. Whether it be marketing/ advertising strategy, franchise royalty questions, or renegotiating my lease; you have worked together to effectuate the best support and solutions.
Your unprecedented support and training have given me a solid foundation for success. I am quite sure that no other Vice President of Operations would meet with their franchisees on a Sunday, as when Felicia met with me when I was overwhelmed.
